Wristband to Cheer Thai in Beijing Games
Supersports and the Olympic Committee of Thailand under the royal patronage have recently launched campaign “ Cheer Thai to Go for Olympic ’s Gold Medal” at CentralWorld The wristbands which designed by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana are priced at 29 Baht with only 100,000 items produced in order to support the athletes who will attend the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing.
Nath Vongpanich, Managing Director for Supersports said “The income from wristband sales without deducting costs will be presented to the Princess and some portions will go the OCT for activities supporting Thai athletes. This campaign is part of Supersports’s goal to support Thai people to concern sports and exercise”
At the official launch of the campaign, Vanchai Chirathivat Central Group’s Chairman as the president of the occasion and top executives such as Kobchai Chirathivat, Yuwadee Chirathivat, Busaba Chirathivat and Suthisarn Chirathivat and representatives from OCT were participating and wearing wristbands to cheer Thai athletes. After the Cheerleaders from Bangkok University finished their excellent cheer performance, the highlight was shown in fashionshow by famous actress, singers, former athletes and a couple celebrities, for example, Naowarat Yuktanan, Santi Veeraboonchai, Apaporn Nakornsawan, Pongpisuth Pew-On and finale by Thai athlete duo who won gold medal in Olympic 2004 Paveena Thongsuk and Udomporn Ponsak.
The wristbands will be sold from 8 May at Supersports, Central, Robinson, ZEN, Tops, Power Buy, B2S, HomeWorks and Central Plaza.
