Central Food Retail Group wins three Influential Brands awards as top brands in Asia recognized by Generation Y consumers
Mr. Stephane Coum, Chief Executive Officer of Central Food Retail Group and President of Central Food Retail Company Limited , and Mr. Alistair Taylor, President of Central FamilyMart Company Limited, received three prestigious Influential Brands awards for 2019: Central Food Hall in Top Brand - Premium Supermarket category, Tops Market in Top Brand - Supermarket category, and FamilyMart in Top Brand – Convenience Store category. The awards highlight the brands’ leading positions among Generation Y consumers or those who are between 25-35 years old. Mr. Chuan Leekpai, President of the National Assembly and Former Prime Minister of Thailand, was the Guest-of-Honor presiding over the 2019 Asia’s CEO Summit & Award Ceremony, organised by Neo Target Company Limited and Influential Brands® (Singapore), held at the Chatrium Riverside Hotel on November 19, 2019.
The Influential Brands Awards explored consumer behaviors of the Generation Y (25-35 years old) as they are the biggest and most influential consumer groups who have high purchasing power. It conducted the same survey throughout Asia, which is home to more than a billion Generation Y people, contributing to 86% of the global Generation Y population. More than 300 prominent executives representing major brands from seven countries across Asia attended the event, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Thailand.
