(operating retail brands including TOPS, TOPS FOOD HALL, TOPS DAILY, TOPS ONLINE, TOPS CARE, and MatsuKiyo), Central Food Wholesale Co., Ltd. (operating GO WHOLESALE), and Central Retail Vietnam (operating GO! Mall, GO! Hypermarket, mini go!, Tops Market, and Lan Chi Mart) under the unified leadership of Central Retail Food Group. Concurrently, Mr. Stephane Coum has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer to oversee CRC’s entire food business portfolio. This strategic restructuring is effective as of 1 March 2026.
Mr. Suthisarn Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer of Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC), stated “The strategic integration of our three flagship food units under Central Retail Food Group is another milestone for CRC under our ‘New Heights, Next Growth’ strategy. The food business is a vital growth engine for Central Retail, consistently driving growth across retail and wholesale formats in both Thailand and Vietnam. The integration is designed to strengthen the management structure and sharpen strategic focus on the food business, while identifying untapped market opportunities to expand reach across all consumer segments—leveraging synergies in expertise, data, and shared resources to drive maximum efficiency.”
“We have appointed Mr. Stephane Coum to lead this group and drive CRC’s food ecosystem towards sustainable growth. We have full confidence in his capabilities and strategic vision, backed by over 30 years of experience in the global retail and his outstanding 7-year track record in strengthening CRC’s food business. We will harness the strengths of each business—from TOPS’ retail expertise and GO WHOLESALE’s strong position in the wholesale market, to Central Retail Vietnam’s rapidly expanding network and growth opportunities—integrating them to create a fully comprehensive and seamlessly connected regional food ecosystem. In this new role, we will prioritise strengthening data connectivity across all three businesses under a unified standard, while elevating customer experience, enhancing collaboration with business partners, and improving supply chain efficiency. At every stage of this journey, we have consistently set new benchmarks for the industry. Today, as all our food business units have reached a clear level of strength, readiness, and strong positioning, the timing is right to unite them into one ecosystem to unlock greater synergy, deliver the best experience to customers and stakeholders, and truly establish Central Retail as a regional leader in food retail and wholesale,” Mr. Suthisarn concluded.
