CMG and CASIO Thailand Join Forces to Promote ESG and Build Waste-Sorting Culture Among Young Consumers Through “CASIO Pop Up at Vanich House”

Bangkok, July 8, 2026, Central Marketing Group (CMG), under Central Retail, in collaboration with CASIO Thailand, has introduced an enhanced waste-sorting initiative and showcased environmentally friendly products at “CASIO Pop Up at Vanich House.” The initiative aims to promote proper and creative waste segregation while inspiring younger generations to take part in environmental stewardship through an accessible community lifestyle space.

Mr. Damien Morot, President of Central Marketing Group (CMG), under Central Retail stated that “At CMG, we believe sustainability should be integrated into everyday business operations and customer experiences. ESG principles guide our approach across the value chain, from retail touchpoints to warehouse management. Through collaborations such as CASIO Pop Up at Vanich House, we aim to make environmental awareness more accessible and encourage positive habits among consumers and communities.

Ms. Sirinart Ruangsuwandej, Head of Casio Watch, Central Marketing Group (CMG), under Central Retail added that “the initiative reflects CMG’s ongoing commitment to extending sustainability efforts into local communities and younger consumer segments. The concept focuses on creating engaging, accessible experiences that encourage environmental awareness through interactive participation.

Community building is a key strategy in strengthening relationships with new-generation consumers. This has been translated into the “CMG CASIO Pop Up at Vanich House,” which features upcycled materials in its spatial design and a detailed waste-sorting system to enhance recycling efficiency and resource recovery. The dedicated waste-sorting station will operate for three months, with plans to expand the initiative to other locations in the future.”

Mr. Tsuneo Nagai, Managing Director of CASIO Marketing Thailand, stated that CASIO is committed to creating social value in every market it operates in, with Thailand being a key country where the company seeks to contribute positively to local communities. CASIO is pleased to collaborate with CMG in delivering environmental awareness to Thai consumers. The company continues to advance its sustainability efforts through the use of bio-based resin materials in watch straps, solar-powered technologies, and recyclable paper-based packaging. These eco-friendly innovations are also showcased within the pop-up to reflect the brand’s sustainability vision.

“CMG CASIO Pop Up at Vanich House” runs from June 20, 2026 to September 20, 2026, featuring 3 key activity zones:

  • Weekend Market featuring curated lifestyle vendors
  • Workshops covering creative activities such as hair styling, wine tasting, sketching, and “Keyboard for Beginners by CASIO Music”
  • Special menu collaborations with Vanich House

The pop-up also includes a CASIO retail space designed with upcycled materials, showcasing environmentally conscious products. In addition, the project connects with the Talat Noi community through a stamp collection activity distributed across various neighborhood locations, which can be redeemed for exclusive souvenirs and special beverages.

“CMG places strong emphasis on supporting initiatives that create positive environmental and social impact. Over the past year, the company reduced plastic waste by more than 2.8 tons and eliminated over 20,000 plastic bags across its operations. In the first five months of 2026 alone, CMG has already cut the use of a further 12,000 plastic bags, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to embedding sustainability into everyday business practices,” Mr. Damien concluded.
