Bangkok, 24 July 2026 – FitFlop, a globally renowned footwear brand distributed by Central Marketing Group (CMG), a subsidiary of Central Retail Corporation, continues to strengthen its commitment to social responsibility by donating 397 pairs of footwear, valued at over THB 890,000, to the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS). The donated footwear will be distributed to elderly people and individuals in need.

Representing CMG, Ms. Penny Tang, Head of Footwear, Central Marketing Group together with Mr. Samrit Anupak, Head of Sustainable Education & Social Development, Central Group, joined the donation handover ceremony. The donation was received by Mr. Nikorn Soemklang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, and Mr. Kantapong Rangsesawang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, at the Department of Social Development and Welfare Building on 21 July 2026.

For this donation, FitFlop provided a selection of casual footwear designed with ergonomic principles in mind. Featuring innovative footbed technology that helps provide balanced support and distribute pressure across the soles of the feet, the footwear delivers comfort and support with every step. Durable and versatile, the shoes are designed for everyday wear.

This support reflects CMG and its affiliated brands’ ongoing commitment to providing essential items and contributing to the well-being of communities. Through this initiative, CMG aims to ensure that senior citizens and those in need receive appropriate support and care. The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security will distribute the donated FitFlop footwear to 11 elderly care centers under its supervision nationwide, helping to improve the quality of life and extend care and support to senior citizens across the country.
