Central Retail Sets Another Record in Q2/2026, Profit Up 124% to THB 2,114 Million, Accelerating Long-Term Growth with “New Heights, Next Growth”

Bangkok, 14 August 2026 – Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, recording total revenue of THB 60,119 million (+3.5% YoY) and Core Profit from Continuing Operations of THB 2,114 million (+124% YoY). For the first half of 2026, Central Retail reported total revenue of THB 126,633 million (+2.4% YoY) and Core Profit from Continuing Operations of THB 5,002 million (+42.5% YoY), reflecting the company’s strong and steady business performance in both Thailand and Vietnam amid various challenges.

Mr. Panet Mahankanurak, Chief Financial Officer of Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) stated, “Our second-quarter 2026 performance reflects Central Retail’s continued commitment to expanding and renovating our business network to drive sustained sales growth, while improving gross margins across all business groups. This has been achieved through effective brand and product mix management to better address customer needs, increasing the contribution of high-potential private brand products, and optimising inventory management. At the same time, we have maintained disciplined cost management despite the impacts and uncertainties arising from macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. We also continue to prioritise effective capital planning and allocation, while closely monitoring economic conditions and associated risks to safeguard our financial position and liquidity. These efforts will enable us to build on our business growth and deliver sustainable returns to our shareholders.”

Throughout the first half of the year, Central Retail continued to strengthen and elevate its core businesses. In the second quarter, the company invested in expanding and renovating its store network while fostering greater synergies across businesses within the Group. This included the opening of new stores for TOPS, Supersports, KIS, CMG brand shops, as well as Power Buy, B2S, OfficeMate and Auto1 at Central Khon Kaen Campus mall and Central Northville mall. Central Retail also expanded into new segments with strong growth potential to capture emerging market opportunities. Key initiatives included extending its beauty retail portfolio to reach younger customers through standalone LOOKS and KIS stores; launching Haruki, a Japanese-style bakery; and enhancing the TOPS DAILY Hybrid format in collaboration with PET N’ ME and TOPS CARE. These initiatives leverage the strengths of businesses across the Group to enhance the diversity of its ecosystem and better address the needs of consumers in each location.

In the second quarter, Central Retail Thailand also achieved more than 9% year-on-year growth in sales from international tourists, despite the continued slowdown in Thailand’s overall tourism industry. In Vietnam, The 1 Vietnam membership base expanded across all business groups, extending from the Food segment into Non-Food businesses such as Supersports, Crocs, Dyson and Kubo. Together with continued membership growth in Thailand, Central Retail’s loyalty ecosystem has now reached nearly 30 million members, comprising 23 million members in Thailand and about 7 million members in Vietnam, which serves as a key foundation supporting the company’s long-term business growth.

Beyond business expansion, Central Retail continues to prioritise prudent and flexible financial management, while ensuring the most efficient allocation of investment capital. As a result, the company has maintained its corporate credit rating of “AA-” with a Stable outlook from TRIS Rating for the fourth consecutive year, the highest rating in Thailand’s retail industry, underscoring its strong financial position. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Central Retail will continue to focus on quality growth, while actively expanding and optimising its portfolio across Thailand and Vietnam to drive sustainable growth and returns.
