Central Group and Central Retail Hosted "Central Group Corporate Governance Day 2026" to Strengthen Good Governance for a Sustainable Organization

Central Group and Central Retail hosted Central Group Corporate Governance Day 2026 on 26 August 2026 at at work, centralwOrld, to enhance Central Group People’s knowledge and understanding of good corporate governance and reinforcing a strong commitment to the Group’s Code of Conduct.

The event was honored by Mr. Kobchai Chirathivat, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, Central Group, who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a special keynote address.

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion, “Governance Starts with Us,” featuring independent directors representing three business groups within Central Group:

  • Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai, Central Retail
  • Mr. Rapee Sucharitakul, Central Pattana
  • Ms. Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, Centara Hotels & Resorts

Our speakers shared their knowledge and experience in corporate governance with Central Group executives and employees. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including the roles and responsibilities of boards and independent directors, the importance of business ethics, fostering an organizational culture grounded in integrity, and the whistleblowing process. They also emphasized that good governance is not solely the responsibility of directors or management; everyone can contribute through the decisions they make and the way they work each day.
