Tops market received Supermarket of the Year award by uplifting new store format and becoming the #1 premium lifestyle supermarket in Thailand. Quality products sourced and selected from different regions around the globe are displayed creatively to create new shopping experiences and fulfill fast-changing customers’ demands. Besides, Central Food Retail also won Omnichannel Strategy of the year award for creating the seamless shopping experiences through extensive multi-omnichannel platforms as well as physical stores, underpinning its position as leading Thai supermarket retailer acknowledged on an international stage.
Supersports under Central Retail won Sporting Goods Retailer of the Year award, emphasizing its position as a leading sporting goods retailer. It has gained the trust of leading sport brands worldwide, being the center of global brands with a variety of sporting products. Digital technology has been leveraged to transforming its services and omnichannel to reach new generation of customers, providing exercising solutions during COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to Supersports’ leaping growth.

Central Retail, with great pride and joy, received ‘Global Best Employer Brand Awards 2022’ from the Employer Branding Institute and World HRD Congress, leading human resource organizations with a vast network of HR professionals convening to strengthen human resources practices and businesses. This award is given to an organization with excellent human resource management that creatively enhances the potential of employees and organization.

Central Retail has won two awards from this year’s IR Magazine Forum and Awards for ‘Best Overall Investor Relations (Mid-cap)’ and ‘Best in Sector: Consumer Discretionary’ in the Southeast Asian region. The award is organized by IR magazine, a global publication in the field, and recognizes companies leading best practices in IR throughout the region. All listed companies in Southeast Asia are eligible for these awards and are selected by hundreds of analysts and portfolio managers who independently cast their votes.
Central Retail received ‘5 Star (Excellent) Scoring’ of The Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2021 (CGR) from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) with an average scoring of 94%, which is 10% above average of SET - listed companies. Since its listing in the Stock Exchange in 2020, this success reflects the determination and collaboration across all business units to sustainably drive the growth of the company. The scoring is also a reflection of the company’s good governance, responsibility to society, proactiveness in creating new experiences, commitment to customer care and growth across business segments. Moreover, this achievement also underlines the company’s supportive spirit and ethical conduct, which forms a crucial part of the company’s culture and will influence the way business is conducted in the future. The company’s adherence to the principles of anti-corruption in all forms is also one of the foundational beliefs that will sustainably pave way for Central Retail to become Thailand’s leading retailer whilst also creating new value and benefits for society.
Central Retail received the award for ‘Organization that Empowers Persons with Disabilities 2021’ for the second consecutive year from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on International Day of People with Disability. The award reinforces the ambition to decrease disparities for people with disabilities by fostering job creation and enabling enhanced quality of life to drive sustainable growth of Thai society. With the award recognizing organizations that supports employment for people with disabilities, Central Retail has proved its efforts in this area via various initiatives in education, job creation and everyday life, including customer service centers at Thai Watsadu and Powerbuy that are serviced by over 50 people with disabilities – truly supporting employment and uplifting quality of life.
Central Retail Vietnam has ranked number one in the Top 10 Most Reputable Retail Companies in 2021 by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company. Winning companies were evaluated based on their financial capacity, media reputation and consumer and stakeholder surveys.
Despite the numerous challenges posed by the COVID-19 in 2021, the company has been able to expand its business by launching a total of 11 GO! malls and GO! hypermarkets, the most recent of which opened in Thai Nguyen, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and will soon open in Thai Binh, bringing the total number of 38 malls across the country.

The category of “Best Employer Award” under the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2021 by the Employer Branding Institute, a leading human resource organization from India, is the award that selects outstanding organizations with prominent management throughout 38 countries across Asia.
The category of “Best in Future of Work” under the 2021 IDC Future Enterprise Awards Thailand by The Future Enterprise Award Singapore, a renowned global provider of market intelligence and advisory services, is the award that recognizes innovative organizations or projects that showcase forefront initiatives known as one of the largest innovation awards throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Central Retail was honorably awarded under the invention of the C-Coin Application-based on blockchain technology, a reward management tool that establishes stronger employee engagement as well as promoting cooperation among employees willingly and voluntarily within the organization. The application consists of a C-Coin Wallet and a digital currency that can be used as a substitute for cash for restaurants, products, and services partners under Central Retail. The digital currency is given to employees as a reward for their hard work or their generosity in the workplace. Apart from this, there is an attendance check-in that matches the new normal working lifestyle.
