Central Retail Corporation PCL achieved 5 Asian Excellence Awards 2021, reflecting leadership in retail and excellent international-level corporate governance. The 5 awards are Asia’s Best CEO, awarded to Mr. Yol Phokasub; Asia’s Best CFO, awarded to Mr. Piya Nguiakaramahawongse; Asia’s Best CSR; Best Investor Relations Company and Best Corporate Communications Team.
The Asian Excellence Awards are presented by Corporate Governance Asia, a leading Hong Kong-based magazine covering topics of economics and good governance. Central Food Retail under Central Retail, which operates Tops, Central Food Hall, and FamilyMart, has received an AMCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition Award 2021: Platinum Status for the 11th consecutive year from the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM), presented by Chargé d’Affaires Michael Heath and AMCHAM President Greg Wong presided over the virtual awards ceremony. The award reaffirms the company's vision and commitment to conducting its business with social responsibility, creating value for our economy and society, and promoting sustainability in Thailand through offering job opportunities, generating income, and helping those impacted by the COVID-19 situation.

The category of “Best Employer Award” under the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2021 by the Employer Branding Institute, a leading human resource organization from India, is the award that selects outstanding organizations with prominent management throughout 38 countries across Asia.
The category of “Best in Future of Work” under the 2021 IDC Future Enterprise Awards Thailand by The Future Enterprise Award Singapore, a renowned global provider of market intelligence and advisory services, is the award that recognizes innovative organizations or projects that showcase forefront initiatives known as one of the largest innovation awards throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Central Retail was honorably awarded under the invention of the C-Coin Application-based on blockchain technology, a reward management tool that establishes stronger employee engagement as well as promoting cooperation among employees willingly and voluntarily within the organization. The application consists of a C-Coin Wallet and a digital currency that can be used as a substitute for cash for restaurants, products, and services partners under Central Retail. The digital currency is given to employees as a reward for their hard work or their generosity in the workplace. Central Food Retail under Central Retail receives two Awards of Excellence in Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards 2021 from the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, on the occasion of the Bureau’s 19th anniversary. The two awards are a Q Modern Trade Award for the 10th consecutive year, and an Organic Standardized Supermarket Award, covering Tops, Central Food Hall, and Fresh Food Distribution Center, for the 4th consecutive year. These two awards reflect Central Food Retail’s commitment and focus on quality of its agricultural products and its standardized stores to offer the best to its consumers.

Tops Thailand under Central Retail wins 1st prize in Best Brand Performance on Social Media – Supermarket at Thailand Zocial Awards 2021.
Tops Thailand reaffirms its leadership position in creating engaging real-time content on online platforms and has won the heart of netizens for two consecutive years as the winner of Best Brand Performance on Social Media - Supermarket at the 9th Thailand Zocial Awards 2021 which recognizes brands, influencers, and entertainment icons who’ve had outstanding performance on social media.

Central Department Store under Central Retail marked worldwide recognition from its successful campaign "Central Midnight Sale" the greatest sale event in Thailand, winning Asia Pacific's top award for excellence in creative communication.
Central Department Store with WOLF BKK developed an advertisement under the concept "Shop Unfriend" and won Grand Prix Award from the Spikes Asia Award 2021, the biggest television commercial competition festival in Asia Pacific held in Singapore.
Moreover, the campaign's advertisement also won other awards such as Gold Spikes and Bronze Spikes launched in 2020.
