The Company promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion as fundamental principles of its business operations, while fostering equal access to opportunities and raising human rights awareness among relevant stakeholders.
1. Embedding Human Rights Awareness
Central Retail recognizes the importance of human rights as a fundamental foundation for sustainable development. The Company is committed to continuously promoting human rights knowledge and awareness among employees and key business partners through communication and training on Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), enabling them to appropriately apply human rights principles in their work in alignment with the Company’s core values. The Company also fosters a corporate culture that respects human rights, promotes equality and diversity, and encourages mutual respect by integrating these principles into its operations, policies, and practices. In addition, Central Retail encourages the application of human rights principles in daily life through regular communication and behaviors that reflect respect for human rights. These efforts aim to create a respectful, inclusive, and equitable workplace for everyone while generating long-term value for society.
2. Human Rights Award 2025
Central Retail received the Outstanding Human Rights Model Organization Award 2025 in the Large Business category from the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice, marking the Company’s third consecutive year receiving the award. This recognition reflects Central Retail’s commitment to advancing human rights through comprehensive policies and initiatives, including creating employment opportunities for vulnerable groups, promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality community, and empowering local entrepreneurs and SMEs to generate sustainable income. These efforts are carried out alongside the Company’s commitment to caring for customers, communities, and society, while protecting the environment in a holistic manner.



3. Universal Design Standards for Facility Development
Central Retail is committed to promoting and respecting human rights through inclusivity and diversity, ensuring that no one is left behind. The Company adopts Universal Design principles in the design and construction of its shopping centers to ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, parents with young children, and other vulnerable groups. This approach enables all visitors to access and utilize facilities without barriers, reinforcing Central Retail’s position as a preferred destination while positively enhancing brand and corporate reputation.
Key facilities include:
- Designated parking spaces for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
- Ramps at all building entrances for wheelchair users and elderly visitors.
- Accessible restrooms equipped with emergency alert buttons.
- Standard-sized elevators accommodating wheelchairs.
- Women’s restrooms designed to allow parents to accompany young children.
- Parent-and-child facilities for diaper changing, cleaning, and breastfeeding.
- Call points in common areas to request assistance or report emergencies.
4. Employment, Career Development, and Equal Opportunities for All
Central Retail believes that everyone should have equal access to employment opportunities and skills development without discrimination based on age, gender identity, race, religion, language, or physical ability. The Company is committed to conducting its business based on respect for human rights and diversity, while fostering an open, safe, and inclusive working environment that enables everyone to participate equally.
In response to economic and social challenges affecting vulnerable groups, particularly persons with disabilities and older persons, Central Retail has implemented inclusive employment initiatives to promote equality, support sustainable livelihoods, and reduce social inequality. These initiatives provide employment opportunities across the Company’s operations nationwide. In 2025, Central Retail employed 259 persons with disabilities and 209 older persons, reflecting its commitment to promoting equality, reducing inequality in the labor market, and advancing diversity and inclusion in human resource management.


In addition, the Company has implemented initiatives to empower persons with disabilities in a tangible manner. One example is the establishment of a Contact Center in Chonburi Province, through collaboration among Power Buy, Thai Watsadu, and the Redemptorist Foundation for People with Disabilities. The center provides customer information, after-sales services, and repair and maintenance services, creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to demonstrate their capabilities, gain meaningful employment, and earn a stable income to support themselves and their families.
