The Company provides employees with opportunities to contribute to society and the environment through volunteer activities aligned with the organization’s sustainability goals.

Volunteer Program for Community and Environmental Engagement

Central Retail has continued the “Cap Swap Project” for the third consecutive year, encouraging employees to participate by donating plastic bottle caps and upcycling them into useful educational equipment for under-resourced schools, such as bookshelves, student desks, and multipurpose round tables. The initiative reflects the principles of the Circular Economy while helping reduce plastic waste and raise environmental awareness among employees.

In addition, employee volunteers participate in tree-planting activities and learning activities with students. The Company and its business partners also provide essential supplies to help reduce living expenses for more than 150 local households. Over the three-year period, the project has helped divert more than 2.87 tonnes of plastic waste from landfill while continuously strengthening employees’ awareness of waste management and environmental conservation.
