Central Retail is committed to developing people’s capabilities and creating equal access to educational opportunities through the Dual Vocational Education Scholarship Program, which has been implemented continuously for more than 10 years.

The program is carried out in collaboration with educational institutions and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) to bridge classroom learning with real-world work experience. It also prepares young people and employees with skills aligned with the evolving needs of businesses and industries. The program provides both Central Retail employees and external students with access to scholarships and skills development opportunities across various levels of education, combined with practical work experience. This approach aims to equip participants with the knowledge and capabilities needed to build stable and successful career paths.

The Dual Vocational Education Scholarship Program is also an important component of Central Retail’s long-term Talent Pipeline, supporting both supervisory career paths and specialist roles such as Merchandising Specialists. The program enables employees to enhance their knowledge and skills and progress toward roles with greater responsibilities in the future. At the same time, vocational students gain valuable hands-on experience, helping them develop essential workplace skills and become better prepared to enter the labor market.

In 2025, a total of 1,301 participants joined the program, with total scholarship funding of THB 50 million. This included 152 internal employees across various educational levels: 9 vocational certificate (Por Wor Chor) students, 40 higher vocational certificate (Por Wor Sor) students, 96 bachelor’s degree students, and 7 master’s degree students, as well as 1,149 external vocational students.

Providing educational opportunities for learners and employees from diverse educational backgrounds reflects Central Retail’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities, capability development, and career growth. The program also supports an integrated talent development ecosystem that connects education, employment, and the evolving needs of the business sector.

Central Retail continues to expand its partnerships with educational institutions to develop a skilled and capable workforce equipped for the future. Through these efforts, the Company aims to create sustainable career pathways for employees and Thai youth while contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce that supports Thailand’s economic and social development toward a sustainable future.
