Hanoi, 28 October 2025 - At the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam Report JSC, in collaboration with VietNamNet, announced the Top 10 & Top 5 Reputable Companies in the Food & Beverage – Retail – Packaging – High-Tech Agriculture Sectors 2025.

At the event, Central Retail Vietnam, with its food retail network including GO! hypermarkets, Tops Market and mini go! supermarkets, was honored as the Top 1 Reputable Retail Company, marking five consecutive years of securing the top position in the ranking.

Since entering Vietnam in 2012, Central Retail has consistently expanded its footprint and contributed to transforming the modern retail landscape. In the food retail sector alone, its network welcomes around 500,000 customers daily across 68 stores nationwide, serving diverse consumer needs from major cities to rural areas.

Thanks to this strong presence, Central Retail has become a trusted partner and a distribution bridge that connects products from local businesses, cooperatives, and farmers with millions of shoppers nationwide. The Group also plays an active role in product export and trade promotion. Recently, Central Retail received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for co-organizing the first Vietnamese Day at the Monoprix system in Paris and strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises and France’s Casino Group.

Mr. Olivier Langlet, Group CEO of Central Retail Vietnam, emphasised: “Maintaining our position as the most reputable retail company for five consecutive years is a clear testament to the trust of our customers and our unwavering commitment to continuous innovation. Central Retail will continue to invest, accelerate digital transformation, diversify our product offerings, and deliver better shopping experiences for our customers, contributing to the prosperity of Vietnam.”

At the event, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Director of Investment and Corporate Affairs, Central Retail Vietnam, was honored to be invited as a panelist at roundtable “Decoding the Investment DNA of Vietnamese ALPHA30”, where she shared insights on Central Retail’s sustainable growth journey in Vietnam: “To achieve strong and sustainable growth over more than a decade, we have focused on four key pillars: expanding our network nationwide, adapting flexible business models, pioneering in omnichannel retail, and delivering the best value to consumers. At the same time, we integrate social and environmental responsibility into our business model - supporting Vietnamese enterprises, promoting local products, advancing green development, and investing in modern retail infrastructure across provinces.”

In the first 10 months of 2025, Central Retail continued its expansion with the openings of GO! Hung Yen, GO! Yen Bai, and mini go! Go Cong Tay and is actively preparing for the official launch of the new GO! Thang Long Mall in Hanoi.

Central Retail’s reputation over the past five years has been reinforced through transparency, consistent product quality, and deep community commitment. The Group partners with more than 5,000 Vietnamese suppliers, distributes 150,000 tons of fresh food annually, and maintains its promise of “Always Lower Prices” along with a wide range of consumer goods, ensuring affordability, safety, and convenience for half a million customers every day.

According to the organisers, the Top 10 & Top 5 Reputable Companies Ranking has been conducted annually since 2012 to honor outstanding enterprises contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable economic development. The ranking is evaluated based on three core criteria: (1) Financial performance based on the most recent financial statements; (2) Media reputation via the Media Coding method; and (3) Surveys of stakeholders and consumers.

As Vietnam moves into 2025, the economy continues to show resilience and adaptability amid global uncertainties. Enterprises remain the driving force enhancing national competitiveness and reinforcing Vietnam’s position in the regional economic landscape.

The retail market, in particular, is undergoing a significant digital transformation, where e-commerce, data-driven operations, and omnichannel customer journeys are becoming essential growth drivers. Leading retailers are restructuring toward connected – personalised – green business models, building a smart retail ecosystem that better meets modern consumer expectations and strengthens loyalty.
