Central Department Store unveils the fresh new look of “Central Ramindra” a new shopping arena for all champion shoppers, with boxing stadium decorative elements and 400 brands on offer, aiming to drive sales and traffic by 60%

Central Department Store under Central Retail rings the bell to introduce a new look of Central Ramindra in a 200 million baht renovation project after almost 30 years (1993 - 2023) to cater to changing customer lifestyles and expansion of Ramindra, an area with high economic potential. The new concept is “Your New Shopping Arena”, with iconic and creative designs featuring boxing stadium elements and contemporary crafts from Akah community which focuses on nature-friendly materials to highlight Central Group’s sustainability commitment. Customers in Ramindra and neighboring areas can enjoy shopping with more than 400 brands on offer such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, Origins, Aveda, and YSL and new brands like Calvin Klein, EP, Defry 01, Expressions, Attitude Mom, Soffin
Geko and exclusive brands including Sanrio, Angel baby, Smiggle, Eclat and more. There will be special promotions throughout the year both in store and on omnichannel platforms. This new look is expected to draw more traffic and boost sales by 60%, while also improving quality of life for those in the area and growing the potential of Ramindra further. Central Ramindra is officially open from January 20, 2023 onwards.

We have a clear goal that wherever we go, the community must grow and move forward with us. The grand opening of Central Ramindra will surprise everyone with the new look. It has been transformed into a new shopping arena in Ramindra. We spent a long time learning, researching, and analyzing it, using our expertise in Synergistic Value and the strength of Central Department Store and shopping centers, to ‘Create Beyond  Experience’ for our customers to get the best in every aspect, such as promotions, activities, and services. We elevate the shopping mall to its highest potential and prepare for expansion of business and transportation in the area. Using customer insights of Ramindra customers to plan our strategies and directions, our three main focuses are:

1. New Prime Location: Ramindra is a high potential location of Bangkok, with a lot of residents. There are many residential projects, schools, universities, hospitals, and condominiums around our clocation. In August 2023, the Pink Line will launch. The area is also home to many businesses. The reopening of Central Ramindra will excite this neighborhood. It will be more convenient to get to Central Ramindra, as the Ramindra 3 Station is only 70 meters away, and the adjacent station connects to the Green Line. Therefore, this is a prime location, as strategic as downtown areas. Central Ramindra will be a new landmark and hangout spot for those in the area, and it will also attract people from neighboring areas to come and feel happiness.

2. Customer Centric: Current customers of Central Ramindra are large and medium families, and the majority are 35-44 years old, followed by 25-34 years old and 55-64 years old respectively. Their level of income is from medium to high. We recognize their purchasing power and opportunities for business expansion by introducing new brands and products that meet their needs. We offer both well-known brands and exclusive brands to cater to both existing and new customers.

3. Complete Brands & Offers for All Generations: Lifestyles of Ramindra locals have changed from the past, thanks to technology, location development, and the pandemic. We have always adjusted our strategies to better understand and respond to their lifestyles. We see that the frequency of their visit is lower, but they spend more time per visit and spend more money.   • Women’s Apparel: Colorfully decorated in bright colors with flowers and graphic details, it creates a feeling of powerful femininity. The zone includes ESPADA, G2000, EP, Defry, Easy Pieces, Expressions, Pulcinella, Luigina, Ferreni Black, Estimate, Simplicity and Claudia Kleid (Pop Up).
  • Lingerie: This zone exudes femininity with soft colors and braided ropes, fused with graphics inspired by Thai crafts. It features lingerie brands such as Wacoal, Sabina, Cherilon, Triumph, BSC, Elle, Cara, Claudia's Romance, Sanrio, Elizabeth, Undergear, Maria Victoria and Sweet Sensations .
