GO! Thang Long Mall Officially Opens Following Comprehensive Upgrade

GO! Thang Long Shopping Mall officially opened on 01 December 2025 with a fully refreshed and modernised façade
Hanoi, 1 December 2025 - GO! Thang Long, one of Hanoi’s most modern and sizable shopping malls, officially opened after a full-scale renovation carried out by Central Retail Vietnam, unveiling a completely refreshed and upgraded identity.
The grand opening ceremony was honored by the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Retailers Association, and a large number of Hanoi customers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade), commended the Group’s continued efforts to expand its business operations in Vietnam. He expressed expectations for more modern retail models, similar to those that Central Retail has developed nationwide, contributing to the sustainable growth of the domestic retail sector.

The launch of GO! Thang Long at this time is highly significant, helping expand retail capacity and support the peak year-end shopping season.”

With a total floor area of 35,180 square meters across three commercial floors and an investment of VND 650 billion - including over VND 200 billion dedicated to renovation - GO! Thang Long is developed under Central Retail’s multi-experience platform with “Shop – Eat – Learn – Play – Sustain” model. The mall brings together over 250 reputable brands, including long-term partners and new-to-GO! brands such as The Coffee House, Phuc Long, Highlands, Gogi, Kichi Kichi, Dookki, adidas, Li-Ning, GEK, PNJ, Canifa, GenViet, Langfarm, KFC, KUBO, Jump Arena, Lotte Cinema, etc. The development also generates employment opportunities for approximately 2,000 labours, including hypermarket staff, mall personnel, and supplier employees.

To enhance a seamless and family-friendly customer journey, GO! Thang Long has upgraded a range of complimentary services, including a 3-hour free parking area, free locker service, private Mother & Baby room, and accessible restrooms and pathways for people with disabilities.
In support of small and medium-sized enterprises, the mall has also introduced a dedicated area on its second floor - within the GO! hypermarket - to showcase and promote OCOP products from provinces nationwide, enabling consumers to conveniently explore regional specialties ahead of the Tet season.
