Central Retail Vietnam Officially Opens GO! Dong Nai Mall

Dong Nai, 22 January 2026 - Central Retail Vietnam officially opened GO! Dong Nai, one of the most modern shopping malls in Dong Nai Province, located at 833 Hanoi Highway, Long Hung Ward, Dong Nai Province.

GO! Dong Nai has been comprehensively upgraded with a total investment of VND 252 billion, of which nearly VND 200 billion was allocated to renovation and upgrading works. The redevelopment aims to deliver a more modern, convenient and customer-friendly shopping environment for consumers of all ages.

Representatives took part in the official opening ceremony of GO! Dong Nai.

The operation of GO! Dong Nai is expected to create job opportunities for approximately 1,000 labours, including staff of the GO! Hypermarket, the shopping mall, its tenants and suppliers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, H.E. Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Consul-General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, said: “The opening ceremony takes place at a meaningful time, as 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Vietnam, as well as a new chapter following the elevation of bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.”

Mr. Olivier Langlet, Group CEO of Central Retail Vietnam, shared that the opening of GO! Dong Nai carries special significance. Since receiving its operating licence in 1996, Cora Dong Nai - later known as Big C Dong Nai and now GO! Dong Nai - was the country’s first and most representative modern hypermarket at the time, becoming an integral part of the memories of many families in Dong Nai Province and neighbouring areas.

“Today, GO! Dong Nai officially resumes operations with a more modern and civilised appearance, offering enhanced convenience and a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers. This transformation reflects Central Retail’s long-term commitment to raising service standards and contributing positively to the socio-economic development of Dong Nai Province,” he added.

Spanning a total gross floor area of over 52,000 square metres (sqm), GO! Dong Nai features one commercial floor and is developed under a multi-utility shopping mall model encompassing “Shop – Eat – Learn – Play – and Sustain”. The mall meets diverse consumer needs through the GO! Hypermarket and more than 50 reputable brands across various sectors, including Nguyen Kim, Gogi, Kichi Kichi, Galbi, Kohaku, Maycha, Mixue, Highlands Coffee, Spicy Box, Pizza Hut, Watsons, Matsukiyo, John Henry, An Phuoc, OLV, House of Luggage, IEF, CGV, VNVC, PNJ, KFC, KUBO, Jollibee and Lotteria, among others.

From the early days of Cora Dong Nai in 1996, through its development as Big C Dong Nai, to its transformation into GO! Dong Nai with a renewed vision and positioning today, the partnership between the two parties has consistently been built on trust, stability and a long-term perspective, regardless of changes in brand name or business model.”

To support small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide, Central Retail Vietnam and GO! Dong Nai have also allocated a dedicated area within the hypermarket to promote and showcase OCOP products from localities across the country, enabling consumers to conveniently purchase regional specialties in preparation for the upcoming festive season.
