Ca Mau, 16 September 2025 – Central Retail Vietnam held the Handover Ceremony of new classrooms for Dong Hai Primary School (in Hamlet 16, Vinh Hau Commune, Ca Mau Province), marking a significant contribution to improving the school’s educational facilities and learning environment.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Minh Khanh, Principal of Dong Hai Primary School, said: “In recent years, Dong Hai Primary School has received strong support from the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu (now the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau Province) and local authorities. However, due to objective conditions, many of classrooms remained old and degraded, affecting the quality of teaching and learning. Thanks to the support of the Department of Education and Training, the People’s Committee of Vinh Hau Commune, and especially the sponsorship of Central Retail Vietnam, the school has now been equipped with four new classrooms worth nearly VND 2.3 billion, in conjunction with the opening of GO! Bac Lieu on 12 November 2024.”

Speaking at the event, Mr. Chalermchai Pornsiripiyakool, Head of International Corporate Affairs & CSR, Central Retail Vietnam, said: “The project handed over today in Ca Mau Province helps 568 students at the school to have better learning conditions. This project is part of our long-term educational sponsorship initiative ‘One Mall, One School’, which Central Retail Vietnam has actively implemented over the years. Through this program, we have sponsored more than VND 10.5 billion for 14 primary, secondary, and high schools, helping 7,790 students to access better school facilities. With today’s handover, we also hope that GO! Bac Lieu’s employees will have more opportunities to contribute to the community, thereby strengthening the relationship between Central Retail and local authorities.”

Currently, in Ca Mau Province, GO! Bac Lieu is operating effectively, creating jobs for hundreds of local workers, while also boosting the consumption of agricultural products of Ca Mau Province, making an important contribution to the social economics development of the province and neighboring areas.
